Annabelle Clarke
About Annabelle
I have worked for a number of years in the NHS with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and adjustment difficulties as a result of a neurological condition or disability.
I am currently in my second year of the Diploma in Integrative Counselling, which is a BACP accredited training course with Inter-Psyche Training Institute.
My training uses an integrative approach including the person-centred/ existential, psychodynamic and cognitive models to make sense of issues you may be struggling with and which sees the counselling relationship as an essential part of the healing process.
I aim to provide you with a warm, confidential, safe space where you can feel heard and accepted and enabled to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, identify what may be keeping you stuck, develop new perspectives on life and a greater understanding of your true self. I will feel privileged to be a companion on your journey to enable you to brIng about positive change and find your own direction in life - whatever seems important for you.
I am fully insured and a student member of the BACP.
