Ina Nesterenko - Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist
I am a lifelong devoted learner about the intricacies of the human mind and heart, currently studying Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and embracing Integrative approach. Having tested different philosophies and psychotherapy modalities, I landed with Transactional Analysis (TA). It has given me an opportunity to work in an integrative style utilising a wide range of different tools. TA’s versatility and effectiveness are in embracing and enhancing other modalities such as positive psychology, gestalt, CBT, psychoanalysis and many more with the main focus on the individual uniqueness and intrapsychic resources available within each and every human being.
TA could become part of every person’s life due its colloquial language and application ease of frameworks and tools. It will help you raise awareness of what contributes to your life results and style while gaining autonomy in your decisions against automatic outcomes or ‘by chance disasters’. You will learn how different mental states serve or trip you up in daily life or critical moments and how you can set yourself free from unwanted life scripts, unnecessary pain, shame and other archaic limitations.
Working with me, you will experience a secure, judgment-free environment, guided by an empathetic and engaged listener with an analytical mind, committed to empowering gentle self-exploration and change. I prioritise establishing a mutual working alliance built on trust and unconditional positive regard, progressing at a pace that the client finds safe. I aim to make you feel comfortable and supported for therapeutic changes which could be uncomfortable at times as we will be reality testing and analysing the meaning and purpose of certain beliefs and frames of reference in the pursuit of wellbeing and healthy self-actualisation.
Fuelled by my fascination with the subconscious mind and its profound impact on our lives, I have pursued qualifications in Hypnotherapy and EMDR. These additions to my skillset complement my existing toolkit of interventions, aiming to further enhance the effectiveness of the work we complete together.
I am a scientist at heart enjoying a good challenge and I am excited about putting my knowledge and skills to use in order to help others. I commit to supporting every step of your therapeutic transformation with kindness and sometimes humour where appropriate.
