Hello and welcome to my profile page. I work as a person-centred counsellor, which means in my work I hope to help you find your own inner resources and ability for growth and change. I can offer you a safe, warm and confidential space to talk about what's bothering you. 

Life can bring up many challenges, while sometimes these can be manageable at other times they can be painful and hard to bear. Relationships can also bring their own challenges: wanting our needs met alongside giving to others can be a delicate balance, particularly when balancing the demands of the modern world or hurts from the past. Sometimes we can lose ourselves or not know who we really are underneath the noise. 

I can provide a trusting and accepting relationship for you to express and explore what you are holding inside. I am here to listen empathically in a non-judgmental way. While the content and direction of the work will come from you, we will work collaboratively together to explore what you choose to discuss. Each person is unique and therefore the counselling I offer will be tailored to meet you.

I have previously worked with clients who:

- are displaying anxiety or depression; 

- are dealing with a loss or breakdown of relationships;

- have experienced trauma that they want to process;

- are neurodiverse or have an autism/ADHD diagnosis, understanding their unique perspective and challenges;

- are questioning their identity, providing an accepting space to explore who they are; or

- have self-esteem issues and working out who they are.

I see it as essential that you find the right person to work with, who you feel safe with, and so I encourage you to choose a counsellor that is right for you. I am ready to meet you and see if I could be the right counsellor for you.
