Yana Richardson - Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist
Yana is a trainee integrative psychotherapist, offering a safe space for clients to explore freely their challenges and struggles.
She works to deepen individuals understanding of themselves, strengthen self-awareness and autonomy and process their experiences and emotions, in a non-judgemental, warm, safe, and empathic space.
She works in a holistic, collaborative and explorative way, looking at the past, present, future, mind and body, as she believes these are all ultimately connected and informing one another.
She believes that as human beings we all deserve respect and dignity and the right to move towards growth, wholeness and healing. As a therapist, she meets the client seeking to understand their story and where their wounds stem from, rather than suppressing symptoms or judging behaviours.
To best support each individual she integrates various approaches and techniques from different psychotherapeutic modalities and frameworks. In your sessions, it is a space for you to bring what feels relevant and important to you. The initial meetings will be a space for you to get to know one another, insuring that you feel safe and comfortable to explore and process further.
She has worked with clients with a range of presenting challenges, including relationship/relational struggles, identity, trauma, self esteem, anxiety, body/self image, depression, loss and grief, sudden change in life and life’s transitions.
She has a background of working in the financial industry and understands the stress and pressures of working in large companies.
She is a student member with UKCP and adheres to their ethical framework and professional practice.
