In this ongoing group, I aim to introduce and explore the rich tradition of Buddhism.
Each session will begin with a guided twenty-minute meditation to centre our minds and create a conducive environment for learning.
Following the meditation, we will read a selected text from the Pali Canon, examining the profound teachings of the Buddha.
Through these explorations, we will gain deeper insights into Buddhist philosophy and its practical applications in our daily lives.
“Five things induce release of heart and lasting peace. First, an intimacy with good friends. Second, ethical conduct. Third, frequent conversation that inspires and encourages practice. Fourth, diligence, energy, and enthusiasm for the good. And fifth, insight into impermanence.”
